Thailand and Bhutan have close relations in many aspects, especially education. Thus, the two-day visit to Prince of Songkla University by Her Majesty the Queen Mother Ashi Tshering Pem Wangchuck of the Kingdom of Bhutan was a significant beginning of the relations between the university and Bhutan.
Three graduate students from Bhutan have recently graduated from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism, Phuket Campus, all of whom were awarded scholarships by the Thai government and tuition fees were waived for them by PSU.
