PSU Faculty Senate (Hat Yai Campus)

It is a unit set up by the regulation of the University Council on Prince of Songkla University Faculty Senate B.E. 1979. The Faculty Senate duties are as follows:
1. To advice and offer suggestions to the university on the following matters:
     1.1  academic and administration,
     1.2  rules and regulation pertaining to the appointment of university staff to administrative and academic positions,
     1.3  academic promotion of faculty members,
     1.4  learning, teaching and research,
     1.5  preservation of arts and culture,
     1.6  providing academic services of various nature,
     1.7  policy concerning with students affairs,
     1.8  other matters which the Faculty Senate, or Campus Faculty Senate deem to be of help in improving the business of the university,
     1.9  any matter requested by the university.
2. To protect benefits of all personnel of the university.
3. To maintain professional standard and ethics of faculty members.
4. To issue rules and regulations of Campus Faculty Senate/ Faculty Senate.
