Confucius Institute at Prince of Songkla University Awarded Prizes 2008-2009

Confucius Institute at Prince of Songkla University located at Faculty of Liberal Arts was awarded two prizes for its 2008-2009 performance:

1. Confucius Institute of the Year 2009 Award was given to Confucius Institute at Prince of Songkla University by Hanban (the Office of Chinese Language Council International) for its most outstanding performance of all Confucius Institutes in Thailand where there are presently 12 Confucius institutes. The award presentation took place at the Fourth Confucius Institute Conference in Beijing during December 10-15, 2009. In Thailand, there are presently 12 Confucius institutes.

2. 2008 Overseas Chinese Test Center of the Year Award was also warded to Confucius Institute at Prince of Songkla University for its effective management and increasing number of applicants for HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi, or the Chinese Proficiency Test).
