The Arts and Cultural Center

The establishment of Arts and Cultural Center project was approved by the University Council in August 1989. Its main duty is to be responsible for the preservation, conservation, promotion, dissemination, exchange, development, of our local and national heritage in arts and culture based on reliable studies, investigations and research works. Other duties are to provide academic services on arts and culture, chart the direction of operation to bring about the revival, promotion and development of culture. All these activities can lead to the increase in value of local wisdom and the strengthening of local culture which in themselves can further lead to the lasting and sustainable development of potential for learning and for ethics and morality of the community and of the country.
